6. Clinical analysis

Understandably, human beings have various ways of solving problems due to the large number of variables that can impact the problem-solving process. These can include aspects such as a person's own capacities and abilities, or the state of mind at that particular time of solving a problem. Depending on many variables, it is highly likely the same individual will have a different mechanism to solve problems faced with different conditions. From the clinical perspective, four strategies have been proposed to approach clinical diagnosis (46). These four strategies can overlap or one can predominate over the other.
